The YMCA after school program at the Bristol Family YMCA works with an average of 8-15 youth with disabilities per day and runs from 2-5 p.m. each day, Monday-Thursday. 


Activities include weight lifting for 30-45 minutes, 15 minutes of basketball, 1 hour of yoga, and 1 hour for walking/cardiovascular activity.  Staff and volunteers are full participants in the program and serve as workout partners and motivators.  We have a certified yoga instructor leading yoga.  Every day we set goals for our walking portion and do our best to surpass those goals.
