We meet at Blackbird Bakery at 8:30 for coffee and conversation before our Book Club begins at 9:00 ever Monday.  The Bristol Public Library hosts our Book Club every Monday from 9:00-10:30 in the Teen Space of the Bristol Public Library.  Everyone involved in the program takes turns reading regardless of reading ability.  In addition to reading a variety of books the Teen Librarian selects for our group, participants also practice social skills through guided conversations around goal setting.  We also take part in crafts and skits based on content from our current book we are reading.  Highlands Community Services adults join River's Way staff and participants for a great start to our week every Monday.  At 10:30 we walk up to the Creative Learning Center for a program that is focused on setting goals in our personal lives.  We reflect on our progress each week, and encourage each other to succeed.  We eat lunch together as a group following our book club at Burger Bar from 11:30-12:30.
