Too cold to play golf? Looking for something fun to do on a Friday evening? Want to help the youth in our community? If you answered YES to any of these questions, we have plans for you!

It’s time for the 2nd Annual River’s Way Nine Ball Mania pool tournament! Last year, 72 pool playing and NON-pool playing members of our community came together to raise funds for the benefi t of the at-risk youth in the Bristol community. Those who participated last year can’t wait until April 2008! Steve Cheers of Mountain Sports Ltd. stated, “Great camp…great event…great time…great cause, sign me up!” Cathy Anderson of Universal Companies added, “What a wonderful fundraising approach! The tournament was well organized, well attended, and a lot of fun.”

Husband and wife teams, (and yes, even ex-husband and ex-wife teams), area fi re departments, police departments, teachers, lawyers, doctors, bankers, college students, and singles were among those who gathered together to engage in a little friendly competition. Even those who have never played pool came out to support River’s Way. Come with your partner, ready to be paired with another team, or bring your own competition! If you’d like, you can even schedule practice sessions at Borderline Billiards, depending on how serious you are about winning!
