River’s Way is a 501(c) (3) non- profit. We depend on donors to help us meet expenses. We justify donations by developing efficient programs that get kids with disabilities and kids from disadvantaged backgrounds involved in goal-centered outdoor adventures. For example, Adventure Incentive Programs cost $163 per student for a school year. This cost compares very favorably to typical intervention programs that cost as much as $1,000.00 per student. In many cases, the results are similar.
